I was walking around photographing and I found this welding mask.

Lumber Mill

I went there to photograph for an Industrial project for small format class. It was very interesting taking photos wearing safty glasses and a hard hat.

Off Camer Flash

 

This is an off camera flash using the speedotron and a farwel light at school in the studio. 

Kat White

This is Kat White. She is a great photographer check out her facebook.

Motion

For class we what out and photographed motion. The shutter speeds had to be photographed at 1/30, 1/60, and 1/125. Your subject had to be in focus, so you had to pan your subject and photograph continuously to get the right image.

HDR picture

For Custom Color print we worked on making an HDR picture and this is mine.

Window

I saw this paint and rust on a window trim.

Field Trip

The large Format II class went to the old Court house in Asheboro to photograph it using Hyperfocal Distance.

Playing with Gels

Dave and I had some free time (not much free time) so we played around with the 750 gels.

Fruit & Fabric

I walked around the local farmer's market and found these lovely blueberries. I photographed this satin rose fabric for product lighting. I thought it would be easy, but you know how shiny things reflect.

Flash

The lovely Christine Shepherd posed for me in lab. I used an umbrella and flash. The umbrella is at a 45 degree angle and a little above her head.

I found this rag on the back of a train. It looks so beautiful and I had to take a picture of it the the evening sunlight.

ABCxABC

My new alphabet. It was a little hard to find the letters in everyday objects.

Night shoot.

We had an assignment to photograph a road. But Dave and Shana overpowered the road LOL so I went with another photo.

The great Quest for ABC's

For class today we (students) had to go around and find the letters of the Alphabet. After that we had to put the letters in order in photoshop (fun I know... hahaha). This is my result.

Football Anyone

Fun class. We split up half played football and the other photographed them using an 300mm f/2.8 lens. The lens was so sweet to use.
